In TCM, there are many acupoints that can help men improve kidney function and enhance sexual vitality when massaged for a few minutes each day over a long period.
“A moving body leads to longevity; a sedentary lifestyle shortens life. Tranquility nourishes the spirit, while movement exercises the body. Being able to both move and rest can lead to a long life. If you want to be healthy, exercise every day. Early morning running can make an old man feel young again. Laziness accelerates aging, while diligence can extend one’s years. Diseases often originate from emotions; light emotions mean light diseases.”
Acupoint Massage Can Enhance Male Vitality

- Zhubin Point (筑宾穴)
- Located about 2 cun above Sanyinjiao point on the inner side of the calf, it belongs to the Kidney Meridian of Foot-Shaoyin. Massaging and stimulating this point can increase libido.

2. Guanyuan Point (关元穴)
- Situated 3 cun below the navel, it is part of the Conception Vessel and closely related to the reproductive system. Pressing this point can strengthen essence and enhance male vitality.
- Massage Method: When self-massaging the Guanyuan point, first use the left or right palm to rotate clockwise and counterclockwise around the point for 3-5 minutes.
- Then, press the Guanyuan point for 3 minutes while breathing deeply. Alternatively, if available, DDS meridian penetration technology can be used to unblock the Guanyuan point for about 10 minutes, which has a very good strengthening effect.

3. Sanyinjiao Point (三阴穴)
- Located where the Liver, Spleen, and Kidney meridians intersect, approximately 10 cm above the inner ankle. Regular finger massage of the Sanyinjiao point can enhance kidney function and male sexual performance.
- Massage Method: While seated, raise your right leg and use your right thumb to massage the Sanyinjiao point on your right leg, gradually increasing pressure. After pressing for 7 seconds, slowly release. Repeat 15 times, then switch to using your left thumb to massage the left leg’s Sanyinjiao point.

4. Yongquan Point (涌泉穴)
- An extremely important acupoint on the Kidney Meridian of Foot-Shaoyin, located at the front third of the sole’s central line, or in the depression when toes are curled. It can be stimulated during foot washing before bed to help improve sexual function.
- Massage Method: Every night before bed, wash your feet with warm water and massage the Yongquan point with your fingers. You can also place a small round stick under your feet and roll it back and forth while barefoot, which helps stimulate the Yongquan point and enhances kidney function and male sexual performance.

5.Shangyang Point (商阳穴)
- Located on the radial side of the distal phalanx of the index finger, about 0.1 cun from the corner of the fingernail. According to traditional medicine, stimulating this point can significantly enhance sexual vitality and delay sexual aging.
- This can be done by hooking the handrail or ring on public transport with your index finger during commutes, or by interlocking your index fingers and pulling them repeatedly during leisure time, or by using an umbrella handle to massage the index finger.

6.Yaoyan Point (腰眼穴)
- An extraordinary point located in the waist, about 3.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of the fourth lumbar vertebra. In TCM, rubbing the Yaoyan point can not only unblock the Belt Vessel and strengthen the waist and spine but also improve hearing and vision, consolidate essence, benefit the kidneys, and prolong life.
- Massage Method: When massaging, sit upright, clench both hands into fists, and naturally place them behind you. Use the raised knuckle of the index finger to press and rotate the Yaoyan point until a feeling of soreness and fullness is achieved. Each session can last about 5 minutes, and long-term practice has a good effect on strengthening the waist and kidneys.
Three Simple Movements Can Also Enhance Male Vitality
- Rubbing Ears

- Rubbing the earlobe can regulate kidney function.
- Rub the ears with warm palms, then use the thumbs and index fingers to rub the earlobes for 3 minutes. Finally, alternate hands to pull the upper part of the opposite earlobe across the top of the head 12-18 times.
2.Rubbing Waist

- The waist is the residence of the kidneys. Stimulating the Shenshu (BL23) and Mingmen (GV4) points can strengthen the waist and kidneys.
- Rub both hands until they are warm, then cover the Shenshu points (located 1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the second lumbar vertebra). Next, rub the waist around the Mingmen and Shenshu points, either horizontally or vertically.
3. Massaging the Lower Dantian

- The Lower Dantian is closely related to human life activities and can strengthen the spleen, benefit qi, soften the liver, and benefit the kidneys.
- Rub both hands until they are warm. Place the right palm on the Qichong point (about 2 cun lateral to the midline near the right pubic tubercle), and move the left palm in a circular motion around the navel in the direction of the large intestine’s peristalsis.
